Halloween Mobile Wallpapers

Since I dress up for Halloween each year, I don’t see why I can’t do the same for my mobile phone. I found a fantastic free app (there’s that word free again) that has a ton of gorgeous Halloween wallpapers for your mobile android phone. I’ve been changing the wallpapers often because there are just so many great ones in there to choose from. Everything from cute cuddly cats and pumpkins to spooky haunted houses scenes. When you’re in the Android Market, do a search and type in Halloween. You’ll see this app in the list. Just look for the proper icon. (I tried searching for it by typing in Halloween Wallpapers and couldn’t find it. Go figure!)

NOTE: Lots of people have been complaining that the latest update version 3.0.4 has some forceclose issues. Hopefully this will be corrected soon, and if it gives you trouble, simply uninstall.

The Monster Ring – Book Review

The Monster Ring was one of my favorite books as a kid. I can’t believe it’s now available in twentieth anniversary editions! Whew…how time flies!

Twist it once, you’re horned and haired;
Twist it twice and fangs are bared;
Twist it thrice? No one has dared!

Russell is sure that the ring is just a silly magic trick, but he follows the instructions and twists the ring twice anyway–and becomes a monster! A fantastic story for anyone who loves monsters or ever wanted to become one! Find out more about this book at the Official Bruce Corville Hompage

Master Pumpkin Carver – Ray Villafane

I caught an episode the other night on Food Network of “Outrageous Pumpkins 2”, where four contestants compete against each other to see who can grabs the title of master pumpkin carver and a prize of $10,000. They were all fantastic artists and carved some absolutely stunning pumpkins. The winner?…Ray Villafane…Master Sculpter. Go to his website www.villafanestudios.com to learn more about him and his art. You can also go to his myspace page www.myspace.com/villafanestudios to see more from his awesome pumpkin gallery.
