I used to love this cartoon! Had to see it at least once every year. And the tune is so catchy! “Trick or Treat…Trick or Treat… Trick or Treat for Halloween…”

Halloween Television Programming 2012
As a kid, I loved rushing home from school to settle in for the night with a spooky horror film or Halloween TV special. This totally set the mood of the season for me. As the years went on, it seemed the quality of Halloween programming got worse each year…at least on network TV stations anyway. We may not be able to totally rely on the networks to provide us the same quality as the “good ol’ days”, but we can set that programming up for ourselves now. Hundreds of cable channels, Netflix queues, Youtube channels, DVD movies, are just some of the ways we can access great programming. In a future post I’ll be building a queue of my favorite Halloween season movies to help you rediscover. And hey, TV is not totally dead. Check out this website for all of this year’s Halloween Television Programming. Continue reading
LEGO Monster Fighters series, the coolest toys this year!
OMG…if your a Horror fan, LEGO has just released one of the coolest toy series ever called “Monster Fighters”. This series is absolutely AWESOME and just debuted this May! Included in the series is a 3-story Haunted House complete with glow-in-the-dark ghosts, Vampyre and Vampiress and too much cool functionality and moving pieces to mention. Other sets in this series include a Vampyre Caslte, Vampyre Hearse, Ghost Train, Crazy Scientist and His Monster, Werewolf set, Mummy set, Zombie set, and Swamp Creature set!!! I want to collect all of them! But of course it’s going to take a little dinero to do so. The most expensive set is the Haunted House at $179 buckaroos. However, lots of other sets are pretty affordable, such as The Werewolf set for only $19.99. Or you can dive into the commitment of owning them all and purchase the LEGO Monster Fighter Collection for $296.94! Check out their website here for more info on all the sets for purchase. Drink Up For Oktoberfest Pumpkin Man!
Autumn is just around the corner, and with it comes Football season and Oktoberfest. It’s time to drink up for Oktoberfest. I can’t think of Football without thinking of beer. And when I think of fall, I think of pumpkins. So if you want to combine the two, go pick up a sixpack of Samuel Adams Fat Jack beer! Packed with enough pumpkin spice and that Sam Adams quality, you’ll be the toast of your next party!
Great Halloween Projection Prop for 2012
Out with the old junk in with the new. Yes its time to get rid of those plastic Halloween props that don’t scare anyone. Invest in something truly terrifying for this year’s haunt such as the Asylum Door. It’s an incredible Halloween projection prop new for 2012. Along with a 22-inch LCD display showing an axe-wielding mad man trying to break out of lock down, hidden pneumatic mechanisms actually create bulges in the door as he swings his axe. Pretty cool and sure to get attention!
